SEIGE!

The greatest water balloon battle ever created. There is intense planning. There is incredible teamwork. There is serious time management, resource management, and execution. For the first 15 minutes teams will plan their strategy for the contest. The next 30 minutes teams will build their equipment for the final battles. Teams will need to prepare catapults, shields, water balloons, etc.

Shields are built with cardboard sheets and duct tape. If anybody is directly hit with a water balloon, they are TEMPORARILY “injured” and out of the contest and move to the sidelines. At the end of the first period, they can re-start with their team.

Each team will create a FLAG that represents their tribe. The Flag is attached to a container on each teams’ side (home base). Every water balloon that your side gets in the opposing team’s container allows some of your injured back in the game. Catapults also must stay in each team’s home base
zone.

The battle will consist of two 15 minute battles with a 15 minute break in the middle.

The combating teams will have one designated roped off “MINEFIELD” in the center of the action. The center zone is a NO BOMB ZONE. In the middle of the minefield will be buckets of GOLD. Team members must use small wood ISLANDS to cross the contaminated zone and pick up their GOLD. Any “touches” other than on the protective ISLANDS result in temporary disqualification. Islands are picked up as teams cross no man’s land into the center gold zone.

During the 15 minute break, individuals can return to action, teams can repair fortifications, build more water balloon ammo, and re-strategize.

The team with the most gold at the end of the contest wins.

Possibly the most fun ever.
